The St. Louis School senior class adopted Palolo Stream, which borders the school, for a community service project. Nearly 180 students cleaned more than 200 yards of the stream Friday. More than 200 people showed up yesterday for the dedication and grand opening of the Keolu Hills Neighborhood Skate Park at 1416 Keolu Drive. Sharif Elassiouti attempted a rail at the 15,000-square-foot facility.




FEAST OF THE SACRIFICE

Women stood yesterday at Kapiolani Park during the "satah," which started the "eid ul adha" or feast of the sacrifice. Women and men are separated during the prayers. The celebration was held by the Muslim Association of Hawaii.
