Penelope "Penny" Mahealani Atkins, 50, of Waimanalo, died Feb. 8. She is also survived by sister Kehaulani Kunukau and brother Elmer "Nuu" Jr. The mortuary provided incorrect information for an obituary published yesterday.

Victoriano "Victor" Bergonia, 64, of Indiana, formerly of Hawaii, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War, died Feb. 11 in Evansville, Ind. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Judy; children Teresa, Rose Victoria, Michael, Moki, Sabrina, RenaMae, Angela and Gena; 27 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Walter Gary Cannon, 86, of Makakilo, a retired lieutenant colonel for the U.S. Air Force, died Saturday. He was also an engineer for McDonald Douglas and Hughes Helicopters. He was born in Panama. He is survived by wife Gertrude; daughters Judith Ann Dillard, Jacqueline Scott and Victoria Cannon; and one grandchild. Dr. Edward Dai Tim Ching, 97, of Campbell, Calif., formerly of Hawaii, former medical director for Waimano Home, who died Feb. 2 in Campbell, will be remembered in services 10:45 a.m. Saturday at St. Philomena Catholic Church. Margaret Lee Ching, 90, formerly of Hawaii, a former teacher for the state Department of Education, died May 29, 2000, in Campbell, Calif. She was also a financial consultant for Grand Pacific Life Insurance Co. and a distributor for Shaklee Authorized Distributors. She was born in Honolulu. Fabian Chow, 92, of Honolulu, former owner of Loo Chow Store, died last Wednesday in St. Francis-West Medical Center. He was born in China.
