Cadet 3rd Class Michelle Martin waved an American flag this morning with other members of the University of Hawaii Air Force ROTC at the corner of Kapiolani Boulevard and Kalakaua Avenue. They were honoring the memory of "General" Rogers, who was a familiar presence at that corner, often seen patriotically waving a flag until his recent death.
