BOYS

>> Chris Davis, Seabury Hall soccer: Shielded the goal against a persistent Iolani attack to preserve the Spartans' 2-1 win over the Raiders and send Seabury Hall to its first state boys soccer tournament.

GIRLS

>> Leo Sing Chow, Kamehameha softball: Earned three wins from the pitcher's circle and hit two home runs to lead the Warriors to the state tournament championship. She hit a two-run homer in her final high school at-bat in Kamehameha's 4-0 win over Kailua in the state final.

>> Bill Puttmann, Damien: The 6-foot-7 junior scored 14 points against St. Louis last Friday. He came back the next night to score 14 points and grab 12 rebounds against Iolani.

>> Chris Hoe, Mid-Pacific: The 5-foot-4 point guard scored 49 points and hit 11 3-point shots in the Owls' three games last week. He had 18 points (four 3-pointers) against Kamehameha, 15 (3 3-pointers) against Punahou and 16 ( 4 3-pointers) against St. Louis.

>> E.J. Aton, Kapolei: Scored 21 points to lead the Hurricanes to a 75-71 win over Waianae. It was the basketball program's first varsity victory.

>> Jesse Wong and Jimmy Miyasaka, Kaimuki: Combined for seven 3-pointers in a 73-42 win over Kalani.

BOYS SOCCER

>> Brent Murakami and Todd Suenaga, Mililani: Scored the Trojans' goals in their 2-1 victory over Kaiser in the OIA championship game.

>> Brandon Tario, Kamehameha: Scored the clinching goal in the Warriors' 3-1 win over Iolani to win the ILH championship.

>> Duke Hashimoto, Iolani: Accounted for all of the Raiders' scoring in matches against Kamehameha and Seabury Hall.

GIRLS SOCCER

>> Ashlee Doi, Mililani: Booted the clinching goal as the Trojans beat Kalaheo in penalty kicks in the OIA championship match.

>> Lindsey Peck, Kalaheo: Scored the winning goal in the Mustangs' 1-0 win over Castle in the OIA quarterfinals and netted another goal in a 2-0 semifinal win over Aiea.

>> Amy Lusk, Kalaheo: The Mustangs' goalkeeper recorded two shutouts in the OIA playoffs.

>> Chevron State Softball Championship All-Tournament team: Catcher--Ashlyn Russell, Baldwin. First base--Erin Castillo, Waimea. Second base--Jaushlyn Mansinon, Kailua. SWIMMING

>> The Kalani Girls Swimming Team: The Falcons swept the relay events en route to winning the OIA Eastern Division championship. Kalani broke meet records in the 200-yard Medley Relay (Natalie Noborikawa, Ivy Yi, Nika Nakamoto, Summer Nakasato) and 200 Freestyle Relay (Sayaka Ogura, Nakasato, Nika Nakamoto, Erin Nakamoto) and won the 400 Freestyle Relay (Ogura, Yi, Natalie Noborikawa, Erin Nakamoto). Nika Nakamoto swam the anchor legs in the record-breaking relays and also won the 100 Butterfly.

>> The state boys soccer championship has never been won by a neighbor island team. ILH teams have won 21 titles and the OIA has captured seven.
