Among those with him were his wife, Dot, left, with their grandson, and UH President Evan Dobelle, right. The UH Rainbow baseball team won the season opener last night against Florida State, 3-2. IN A SINGLE DAY

The house is being built in the Blaisdell Center parking lot and should be finished by 11:30 a.m. The house will be on display during the Homebuilding and Remodeling show, which runs through the weekend. It will then be taken to the Hawaiian Homelands lot.
