Water deliveryman

Adrian Silva flexes his muscles to
quench the thirst of local residents

ADRIAN SILVA >> Boy, it's humid, and here I am dealing with all this water! Hawaiian Isles has clients all over the island. I deal with the downtown area. This is my first delivery job. Before this I was a safety officer for several years.

All sorts of people want pure water. Residential areas, churches, businesses, nonprofits, or right in people's homes. Anyone who drinks water, I guess. You people at the Star-Bulletin really suck it up.

The usual replacement cycle is every couple of weeks. Our company can provide the stands and everything.

Most people want bottled water for health considerations. It's pure, it doesn't have fluoride, it just tastes cleaner.

The loads are really heavy going into the building. Coming out, the empty bottles bounce all over the place.

Every time you deliver a load, you have to redistributes the bottles inside the van so that it rides evenly. This job is putting muscles on my muscles.
