The host Red Raiders stayed with the Mustangs for much of the game, trailing 25-24 at halftime and 37-34 after the third quarter.
But D.C. Daniels scored seven of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter to spur Kalaheo to a double-digit lead. Ikaika Alama-Francis added 12 points for Kalaheo.
Trumaine Oto led Kahuku with 15 points, and Ferron Fonoimoana had 13.
