The city unveils a new, more colorful look for its buses

TOM HISAMURA / CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU Say goodbye to the old yellow and brown stripes. The city unveiled 10 new 30-foot low-floor buses yesterday that feature TheBus' new rainbow-hued color scheme. The new bus design will be incorporated as the city replaces older buses in its 525-bus fleet. The smaller buses, used for neighborhood routes, cost $268,000 each.
