With the backing of a band that includes lead guitarist Pat Travers, a steady line of vocalists like Mike Reno ("The Kid is Hot Tonight" and "Working for the Weekend"), Leslie West ("Mississippi Queen"), Joe Lynn Turner ("Stone Cold" and "Street of Dreams"), plus former Santana band member Alex Ligertwood ("Winning" and "Hold On") and John Cafferty ("Tender Years") will do their best to bring back the memories.

Time: 2 to 10 p.m. tomorrow

Note: In case of rain, the concert/taping will be moved to Sunday
The all-day festival will be split into two parts. From 2 to around 6:45 p.m., sets will be done by Spencer Davis (Spencer Davis Group), Ligertwood, Cafferty, Jimi Jamison (Survivor), Travers and West, and Turner and Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple).
From 7:45 to around 10 p.m., the sets will be taped for a TV special that will air in two months on VH1 Classic and DirecTV. All the performers will reprise some of their big hits, plus there will be additional singers in Reno, Larry Hoppen (Orleans), Ronnie Hammond (Atlanta Rhythm Section) and Dave Jenkins (Pablo Cruise).
It was also announced earlier this week that former Steely Dan and Doobie Brothers guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter will join West and Travers in their twice-performed "GuitarStarz" segment.
