>> Landon Beers, Kaiser soccer: Scored three goals against McKinley to raise his season total to an OIA-best 13 goals.

GIRLS

>> Leo Sing Chow, Kamehameha softball: Tossed a no-hitter in the Warriors' 4-0 win over University High last Friday, then pitched a two-hitter in an 8-1 victory over Punahou the next day. She struck out 12 batters while walking just two in those games. She has given up just one earned run all season.

>> Jason Rivers, St. Louis: Scored 17 points for the Crusaders in a 54-53 loss to La Habra (Calif.) in the Walter Wong Holiday Classic on Saturday.

>> Kynan Pang, Punahou: Hit for 13 points to lead the Buffanblu to a 51-45 win over Kamehameha in the championship game of the Punahou Holiday Classic.

>> Bobby Webster, Iolani: Led the Raiders to an 88-54 win over Kaimuki by scoring 25 points. Three of Iolani's starters scored 21 points or more in the contest.

BOYS SOCCER

>> Vance Harris, Mililani: Scored on a free kick from 50-yards out in the Trojans' 1-1 tie with Pearl City.

>> Francis Godinet, Waipahu: Booted three goals in the Marauders' 4-0 win over Waialua.

>> Michael Ryman, Campbell: Scored three goals as the Sabers beat Waianae 6-1, and is second in the OIA with 12 goals this season.

GIRLS SOCCER

>> Mele French, Mililani: Scored four goals in the Trojans' 7-0 win over Waianae last Wednesday. Her goal against Pearl City two days later gave Mililani a 1-0 win. It was the first goal scored against Pearl City during the OIA season.

>> Jodie Unten, Aiea: Scored three goals in Na Alii's 8-0 win over Leilehua, then scored two more in a 9-0 win over Waipahu.

>> Kimberly Unten, Aiea: Scored three goals against Waipahu.

>> Krisha Kai, Kahuku: Scored three goals as the Red Raiders defeated Moanalua 4-1.

>> Jasmine Kim, Jen Loo, Liane Tom and Eryn Kishimoto, Mililani: The Trojan defenders and goalkeeper (Kishimoto) combined to shutout Pearl City, the league's highest scoring team, 1-0.

>> Megan Yogi, Castle: Scored the winning goal as the Knights handed Kalaheo its first loss of the season, 1-0.

SOFTBALL

>> Miki Asamura, Mililani: Pitched a perfect game and struck out 10 batters in the Trojans' 1-0 win over Waipahu on Saturday.

>> Alicia Pada, Campbell: Went 4-for-5 with a double and a home run and drove in five runs in the Sabers' 18-2 win over Aiea.

>> Cassie Chun-Ming, Kaiser: Threw a no-hitter against Kalani, but still lost 3-1.

>> Valana Manuma, Waipahu: Went 3-for-4 and drove in six runs as the Marauders routed Radford.

>> Darci Takemoto, Kalani: Struck out 10 Kalaheo batters on Saturday en route to picking up her fourth consecutive win.

>> Maile Sylva, Iolani: Earned the win in the Raiders' 5-2 victory over HBA/St. Francis/St. Andrews and went 2-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and an RBI.

>> Penny Chock, Sacred Hearts: Went 4-for-5 and drove in two runs to lead Sacred Hearts to a 15-7 win over Mid-Pacific.



NOW YOU KNOW

>> The high school swimming season gets under way with the Kalani Invitational on Jan. 11 and 12. This year's meet marks the 25th anniversary of the event. The swimming competition will be held at Kalani's pool. The diving portion will be held at Kaimuki.
