The following is a preview of movies opening this weekend that runs every Tuesday in the Star-Bulletin:

Opening Friday

"Impostor" -- An engineer creates the ultimate weapon in a battle against aliens, only to be suspected of being an alien himself. Gary Sinise, Madeleine Stowe, Vincent D'Onofrio and Tony Shalhoub star in this sci-fi thriller (PG-13).

"The Royal Tenenbaums" -- From director Wes Anderson and actor Owen Wilson, the duo responsible for the comedy "Rushmore," comes this story of the life of a highly neurotic family of geniuses. Anjelica Huston plays the matriarch of an estranged family of former child prodigies (Wilson's brother Luke, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Stiller) who are struggling to reunite after the departure of their father (Gene Hackman). Bill Murray tags along in the role of son-in-law (R).

Sneak preview Saturday

"Snow Dogs" -- This Disney comedy stars Cuba Gooding Jr. as a Miami dentist who travels to Alaska to claim an inheritance, only to find out it's a team of sled dogs (PG).
