Jeanette P. "Jay" Bode, 69, of Kaneohe, an accountant for the Army & Air Force Exchange Service, died Thursday. She was born in Honomu, Hawaii. Ignacio Benaza Bristol, 90, of Honolulu, a retired stevedore for McCabe & Renny, died Dec. 15. He was born in the Philippines. Hubert "Sam" Simpson Jr., 78, of Kailua, who retired from the U.S. Air Force, died Dec. 21 in Castle Medical Center. He was also a retired budget analyst for the city and county of Honolulu.
