Party at Ocean's

The Ocean Club is the place to be as "The Piranha Club" makes its debut tomorrow night from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.

They'll be celebrating with a fashion show by Bebe, with hairstyling by Chop, makeup from M.A.C and models from the Kathy Muller agency.

There will be a $5 cover charge after 8 p.m.

Then the fun continues New Year's Eve with "Glitter & Glamour" taking place 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Your $5 cover will get you free party favors and a midnight champagne toast, and if you're a good boy or girl -- oh wait, that holiday's over -- you'll get an Ocean Club VIP card at midnight.

FIREWORKS ON THE EVE

Aloha Tower Marketplace: The sky over Honolulu Harbor will be ablaze by Fireworks by Grucci, set to go off when 2002 rolls in. Before the big event, there will be fire and knife jugglers, stilt walkers and balloon artists to keep kids and diners entertained from 6 to 9 p.m., and KSSK will be hosting free games, prizes and giveaways on the premises from 9 to 11:30 p.m. There will also be free inflatable games from 6 to 11 p.m. For more information, call 566-2337.

Waikiki Beach: The Halekulani, Outrigger and Sheraton hotels have teamed up to sponsor an 8 to 10-minute fireworks display off the beach fronting the three properties for views anywhere along the beach front. The fireworks will go off at midnight. Then get a room if you don't care to brave "amateur night" on the roads.

EARLY BIRDS

Masquerade Ball: Experience the magic of the unveiling of the masks, midnight at Indigo's. Ball from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. tomorrow. Call 521-2900.

"Pre-New Year's Celebration -- Latino Style": Dance the night away with the sounds of Los Carinosos, Orquestra SalsAloha, Tommy Valentine y Sus Amigos, Second Time Around Latin Band and Swing Cana. NEW YEAR'S EVE DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT

Ala Moana Hotel: Dinner celebration featuring a prime rib buffet and music by Kit Sampson's Sound Advice, a five-member dance band performing swing and rock 'n roll music. 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. $55; $35 children under 12, includes dinner, entertainment and party favors. Don Ho's Island Grill: Chef Mariano Lalica prepares a special feast including various types of poke, lomi lomi salmon, New York steak with peppercorn sauce and wild mushrooms, Hawaiian-style ciopinno, lamb osso bucco and an array of desserts.
