Allan W.M. "Mac" Akana, 84, of Honolulu, a retired union representative for the Hawaii Government Employees Association, died Monday. He was born on Kauai. Seiko Arakaki, 75, of Aiea, a retired U.S. Army platoon sergeant at Pearl Harbor, died Friday. He was born in Pearl City. Richard Wing Sheong Chen, 77, of Honolulu, a retired supervisor for Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died Tuesday in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Gary Ferguson, 61, of Newnan, Ga., a former fighter pilot for the U.S. Navy, died Friday. He was also a retired captain for Continental Airlines and a veteran of the Vietnam War.
