A week after battling for the state championship, 15 Kahuku and St. Louis players will find themselves sharing the same sideline. St. Louis, Kahuku team up

jkaneshiro@starbulletin.comSix members of the state champion Kahuku squad will join six players from runner-up St. Louis on the East team in Friday's Hawaii Union Builders Foundation Goodwill Football Classic at Aloha Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5. Children ages 6 and under get in free. Proceeds will fund scholarships sponsored by the HUB Foundation.
The 11th annual all-star game features Oahu's top high school seniors. The East team will consist of players from Oahu Interscholastic Association East Division schools, and Iolani, Pac-Five and St. Louis of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu.
The team will be coached by Nelson Maeda (Castle), Wendell Look (Iolani), David Tanuvasa (McKinley), Ronald Oyama (Kaimuki), Lester Parilla (Roosevelt), Jose Guevara (Moanalua) and Cal Lee (St. Louis).
The West squad will be made of players from OIA West schools, Damien, Kamehameha and Punahou. The coaching staff will be made of Cass Ishitani (Leilehua), Kale Ane (Punahou), Chris Bisho (Damien), Wendell Say (Aiea), James Millwood (Mililani), Kelly Sur (Radford) and Todd Fujimori (Waipahu).
The East leads the series 7-1-2. The West picked up its first win last year 22-18.

Raider among world's fastest: Iolani junior Hong Zhe Sun posted two first-place finishes in the U.S. Open Swimming Championships Sunday in East Meadow, N.Y.Sun, 16, won the 100- and 200-meter backstroke events in the meet which featured 1,100 swimmers representing more than 30 countries, including several 2000 Olympians. He also placed 10th in the 200 butterfly and 18th in the 100 butterfly.
Sun's winning times place him among the world's top swimmers and puts him in position to contend for a spot in the 2004 Olympic Games.
Iolani No. 47: The Iolani girls volleyball team finished the season 47th in the Student Sports Fab 50 national rankings.
The Raiders went 20-0 this season en route to winning their first state championship.
