Dec. 1-Jan. 3: Parking Ban for Christmas Season, no parking tow-away zones. Honolulu area: 6 a.m.-10:30 p.m. on Kapiolani Boulevard, makai side; South Street to Atkinson Drive; Keeaumoku Street, both sides; Liona to Makaloa streets; Kaheka Street, Ewa side; and Makaloa to 800 Kaheka streets. Pearl City area: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on Puu Kula Street, inner curb Nos. 808-926; Hoolaulea Street, makai side; and Waimano Home Road to Hoomalu Street.

Friday: 60th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor Attack Memorial service will be prohibiting parking from 5 a.m.-1 p.m. on Puowaina Drive, both sides between Hookui Street and the gates to National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl; and Hookui Street, both sides, between Puowaina Drive and Auwaiolimu Street.

PARADES

Thursday: Kaimuki Christmas Parade expecting 2,000 marchers, 25 vehicles, three floats and five bands. 6-8 p.m. starting on St. Louis School grounds to Waialae and Koko Head avenues, ending at Municipal Parking Lot. Call 732-5544.

Saturday: Ewa Beach Christmas Parade expecting 1,500 marchers, 50 vehicles and five floats. Starting at Ilima Intermediate School to Fort Weaver Road, Kuhina Street, Hanakahi Street, North Road to Fort Weaver Road, ending at Ilima Intermediate School. Call Dolores White, 689-1311.

Saturday: Waianae Coast Christmas Parade expecting 1,000 marchers, 30 vehicles, 30 floats, 10 bands and three horse units. 10 a.m.-noon, starting at Waianae Boat Harbor parking lot to Farrington Highway, ending at Waianae Mall. Call Anson Rego, 696-7061.

Saturday: Koolauloa Lions North Shore Christmas Parade expecting five vehicles. 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., starting at Pupukea Road/Kamehameha Highway, ending at Swanzy Beach Park parking lot. Call Donald Hurlbut, 293-7667.

Sunday: Pearl City Christmas Parade expecting 1,000 marchers, 20 vehicles and five floats. 4-5 p.m., starting at Momilani Elementary School to Hookiekie, Hoomoana and Hoolaulea streets, ending at Pearl City Shopping Center. Call Iona Ventura, 593-1533.

WALKS AND RACES
