try out for USA team

Outside hitter Kim Willoughby and defensive specialists Hedder Ilustre and Melissa Villaroman have been invited to try out for the USA women's national summer training program.

The two day tryout at Peterson Gym on Dec.15-16 follows the NCAA championship at Cox Arena. The players received the letters yesterday in practice.

Hawaii coach Dave Shoji said that the players have not discussed whether or not they will participate in the tryouts.
