Johnson on home turf
Hawaii-born athlete, artist, musician and filmmaker Jack Johnson is coming home for a concert at World Cafe Dec. 21.Tickets go on sale Saturday for the performance, featuring songs from Johnson's debut LP, "Brushfire Fairytales." The disc features a guest appearance by Johnson's longtime hero Ben Harper, on the single "Flake."
Fans will also be treated to a screening of Johnson's surf film, "September Sessions."
Tickets are $15 for the all-ages concert, scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

For those searching for new ways to personalize their holiday greetings, Hallmark has launched a new Internet service offering a choice of more than 100 photo card designs in a variety of shapes and sizes, utilizing your own photos and sentiments.There is a $25 10-card minimum per standard card, or $2.50 per card. The price per card goes down as the size of the order increases, so 100 standard cards will cost $150, or $1.50 per card.
Deluxe tri-fold cards range from $2 to $3.25 per card and feature a full-color inside and a cover design with a cut-out peek-through window.
Digital camera users can upload their images directly from their cameras to www.hallmarkstories.com.
Traditional film users can have their film processed at any Wal-Mart in-store photo-processing center and have it digitized and uploaded to www.walmart.com.
Cards will be produced in three to five business days, and the site will be taking orders through Dec. 19.
