undefeated at 4-0

FUKUOKA, Japan (AP) - Hawaiian-born yokozuna (grand champion) Musashimaru forced out lower-ranked Wakanosato for his fourth straight win against no defeats Wednesday, the fourth day of the 15-day Kyushu Grand Sumo tournament.
Sekiwake (junior champion) Tochiazuma also remained undefeated at 4-0 along with three lower-ranked wrestlers - No. 10 maegashiras (senior wrestlers) Takanonami and Hayateumi and No. 9 maegashira Kyokushuzan, or Mongolian Batbayar Davaa.

In the day's final bout before 9,000 spectators at Fukuoka Kokusai Center in Fukuoka on Japan's southernmost main island of Kyushu, Musashimaru, or Fiamalu Penitani from Hawaii, grabbed winless No. 1 maegashira Wakanosato's belt and forced him out.

Sekiwake Kotomitsuki, the winner of the previous tournament in September, drove winless No. 2 maegashira Takanowaka to the ring's edge and quickly threw him down for his third victory against one defeat.

Tochiazuma held off komusubi (junior champion second class) Asashoryu's initial charge of fierce hand thrusts and forced him out, leaving Asashoryu, known as Dolgorsvren Dagvadrj by his Mongolian name, at 3-1.

In other major bouts, Tananonami sent out No. 11 maegashira Otsukasa from behind and Hayateumi bulldozed out No. 11 maegashira Kitazakura. Both Otsukasa and Kitazakura are 1-3.

No. 4 maegashira Kotonowaka grabbed No. 5 maegashira Kyokutenho's belt and sent him out for his third victory against one defeat. Kyokutenho, or Mongolian Tsevegnyam Nyamjav, is 2-2.

Kyokushuzan, Mongolian Batbayar Davaa, threw down No. 9 maegashira Wakanoyama after fighting off Wakanoyama's driving attempts at the ring's edge. Wakanoyama is 2-2.
