Henry M. Morgan, former dean of the Boston University School of Management, died Friday at his home in Lincoln, Mass.

Morgan, 76, was born in Honolulu and attended Punahou School. After attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned a doctorate in fibrous high polymers, he continued to live in Massachusetts.

He was a lecturer at Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, human relations director at Polaroid Corp., treasurer of the New England Television Corp. in Boston, and president of KLH Research and Development Corp., a former Cambridge technology firm. He served on the boards of organizations including Cambridge Trust Co. and Ben & Jerry's Homemade Inc. and was elected to selectman and board of education positions in Lincoln.

Morgan is survived by his wife Gwen; daughters Ellen, Louise, Amanda and Laura; sons Henry A. and Edward; brother James F. of Honolulu; sisters Annis Day and Laura Morris; and 16 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday at First Parish Church in Lincoln. Memorial donations may be made to the LS METCO Scholarship Fund, 390 Lincoln Road, Sudbury, MA 01776.
