Fuamatu-Ma'afala (St. Louis School/University of Utah) finished with 3 yards on three carries and another 8 yards on two receptions. The backup running back also made a tackle after a Steelers' turnover.
Jeff Ulbrich, 49ers: The starting linebacker (University of Hawaii) made five tackles, including three solo stops, in San Francisco's 21-13 win over the Detroit Lions. He is still second for the team in tackles with 38.
Olin Kreutz, Bears: The starting center (St. Louis School/University of Washington) and his teammates on the offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage on two late scoring drives to help Chicago force overtime and eventually beat the Cleveland Browns 27-21.
The Bears' line allowed five sacks on quarterback Shane Matthews, who threw for 357 yards and two touchdowns.
The line also made room for Anthony Thomas to run for 96 yards on 31 carries.
Kimo von Oelhoffen, Steelers: The starting defensive end (Molokai High School/Boise State) didn't make any tackles in the loss to Baltimore.
Kynan Forney, Falcons: The backup guard (Hawaii) was used sparingly in Atlanta's 24-10 loss to the New England Patriots.
Itula Mili, Seahawks: The backup tight end (Kahuku High School/Brigham Young) subbed for Christian Fauria in Seattle's 27-14 loss to Washington.
Dominic Raiola, Lions: The backup center (St. Louis School/University of Nebraska) played on special teams in Detroit's loss to San Francisco.
Chris Naeole, Saints: The starting guard (Kahuku High School/University of Colorado) and his offensive linemates gave up six sacks on quarterback Aaron Brooks in a 16-9 loss to the New York Jets.
Jason Elam, Broncos: The kicker (Hawaii) visits division rival Oakland for a game tonight.
Not in action: Several NFL players with Hawaii ties didn't play yesterday. New England tackle Adrian Klemm (Hawaii) and San Diego defensive lineman Ma'a Tanuvasa (Mililani High School/Hawaii) are on injured reserve. Arizona defensive lineman Mario Fatafehi (Farrington High School/Kansas State) was on the inactive list, while St. Louis offensive lineman Kaulana Noa (Honokaa High School/Hawaii) had a bye week.
