VOLUNTEERS BECOME TEACHERS FOR A DAY

Members of the community were teachers for a day
yesterday as part of Back to School Day organized by
the Hawaii State Teachers Association. Stephany Sofos,
president of SL Sofos & Co., Ltd., read to a class of
Waikiki Elementary School fifth-graders, including,
from left, Teari'i McKeague-Stone, Lia Kim, Ashlyn
Onaga, Lesly Goo and Victoria Tom.
