PUMPING OUT THE PUMPKIN ART

Right, student Megumi Yokoi placed the candle in
her entry in this year's pumpkin-carving contest
sponsored by the University of Hawaii School of
Architecture. Above, UH architecture student
Shannon Teves, viewed through the creation of
student Michelle Burns, worked last night to
complete her entry. After being judged, the
pumpkins will be donated to The Blood Bank
of Hawaii, Kapiolani Medical Center for
Women and Children and Shriners
Hospital for Children.

underwent repairs.
