3 Rainbows banged up

After six straight days of practice, the first day of rest will be a welcome respite for the slightly banged-up Hawaii men's basketball team.

Three of the Rainbows are nursing injuries suffered in Wednesday's practice.

The most serious is Mindaugas Burneika's second-degree strain of the left ankle. Also hurt but able to practice yesterday were Luc-Arthur Vebobe (right-knee contusion) and Josh Stanhiser (right-shoulder strain).

The Rainbows continue practice tomorrow.
