To commemorate "Anti-Columbus Day," protesters,

burned copies of the 1493 Papal Bull at Fort Street
Mall yesterday evening. The burning was to remember
those who died during the discovery and colonization
of the New World.

Cristobal, born last June 27, as father Christopher shoveled
dirt around a Rainbow Shower tree yesterday as part of the
city's Keiki Tree program, in which a tree is planted for
every new baby.
