Jack Nobuo Abe, 87, of Honolulu, a former gladiolus flower grower, died Tuesday. He was born in Haiku, Maui. He is survived by wife Mae; son Ernest; daughters Frances Suzuki, Esther Shishido and Marian Kuroda; brothers Stanley and Bob; sisters Chie Takano and Carol Morita; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Lin Oi "Betty" Aihara, 76, of Pearl City, died Friday. She was born in Pearl City. She is survived by son Alvin; daughter Gwen; brothers Calvin and Gary Chung; sisters Clara Takami, Edith Kakugawa and Loretta Adoca; and four grandchildren. Private services.

Mary Ann Barbosa, 65, of Wailuku, an employee for Hale Makua and the County of Maui, died last Thursday at home. She is also survived by daughters Beverly Shields and MayLing Barbosa-Pamat, and sister Sylvia Correia-Todd. Incorrect information was printed in an obituary published yesterday.

Anthony Raymond Capuano, 79, of Kamuela, Hawaii, a storekeeper for Hawaii County, died Sept. 19 in North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was also a retiree from the U.S. Marine Corps. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He is survived by wife Betty Lou; sons Christopher Himan and Daniel Ireland; daughters Toni Lytton, Betty Ann, Wendy Leimoni Kamaka and Antoinette Leilani; and sisters Rosemarie Pisarski and Louise. Elenora "Lovey" Doo, 72, of Kailua, died Tuesday in Kailua. She was born on Kauai. Harry Rudy Ku Kalua, 55, of Stockton, Calif., a mechanic, died Tuesday in Stockton. He was born in Hawaii.
