Elam kicks 3 field goals as Broncos rout Cards

Nine-year veteran Jason Elam (Hawaii) kicked field goals of 49, 41 and 35 yards and added three extra points in the Denver Broncos' 38-10 blowout win over the Arizona Cardinals last night.

Here's a look at how other players with Hawaii ties fared yesterday:

Jeff Ulbrich, 49ers: The linebacker (Hawaii) made two tackles in San Francisco's 30-26 loss to the St. Louis Rams. Ulbrich's stops came on 7-yard gains by Marshall Faulk and Ricky Proehl on passes from Kurt Warner.

Olin Kreutz, Bears: The center (St. Louis School/Washington) was instrumental in pass blocking for quarterback Jim Miller, who was 18 of 29 for 204 yards and two TDs in Chicago's 17-10 upset victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

Itula Mili, Seahawks: The backup tight end (Kahuku/Brigham Young) didn't catch a pass in Seattle's 27-3 loss to Philadelphia, but he made a special teams tackle against Brian Mitchell --one of the NFL's all-time top returners. Mili made the tackle at the Eagles' 19-yard line after Mitchell's runback from inside the end zone.

Dominic Raiola, Lions: The backup center (St. Louis School/Nebraska) was used on special teams in Detroit's 24-14 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

Adrian Klemm, Patriots: The offensive tackle (Hawaii) was listed as inactive.

Kynan Forney, Falcons: The guard (Hawaii) was listed as inactive.

Kaulana Noa, Rams: The guard (Honokaa/Hawaii) was listed as inactive.

Mario Fatafehi, Cardinals: The defensive tackle (Farrington/Kansas State) was listed as inactive.

Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala, Steelers: The running back (St. Louis School/Utah) had a bye week.

Kimo von Oelhoffen, Steelers: The defensive end (Molokai/Boise State) had a bye week.

Chris Naeole, Saints: The guard (Kahuku, Colorado) had a bye week.

Hawaii's Own

Mike Fetters, Pirates: The Iolani graduate did not pitch in Pittsburgh's 2-1win over St. Louis.
Chris Truby, Astros: The Damien prduct did not play in Houston's 7-6 win over the Chicago Cubs.
