Oblong Chinese daikon, the clear eyes of fresh fish, gleaming roast pork, delicate steaming dim sum. These are the images of Chinatown Dana Anne Yee captured with her Nikon camera.

"I never tire of exploring our Chinatown, taking in the many interesting faces of shoppers and shopkeepers, hustling and bustling through the streets and shops that make up out rich cultural heritage," Yee said.

Her sepia-tone photographs are on exhibit at the upstairs gallery at The Academy Art Center at Linekona through Sept. 30. Admission is free. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Call 532-8741
