Walter Akamu, 83, of Honolulu, died last Friday in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Naalehu, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Kay K.; sons Matthew, Peter and Lindsey; daughter Nancy Hiu; brother Eugene; sisters Florence Ing and Annie Akamu; and one grandchild. Private services.

Shane Edward "Shangus" Faustina, 29, of Waianae, died Tuesday. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Shane Jr., father Manuel "Bonka," mother Roxanne L. Becker, brothers Christian and Aaron, and grandmothers Julia Rezentes and Kay Becker. Services: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Borthwick Mortuary. Call after 6 p.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.

Victor Juichi Fukata, 74, of Honolulu, died Sunday in Queens Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Private services.

Nolan Jay Kramer, 80, of Kailua, a retired airline and transportation executive, died Tuesday in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Jane, sons Dr. Kenton J. and Carlton R., and three grandchildren. Services: 2:15 p.m. Thursday at Ordenstein's Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Mark Kane Luning, 49, of Keaau, Hawaii, an accountant for the Naniloa Hotel, died Wednesday in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Omaha, Neb. He is survived by wife Kristen; son Jesse Grune; daughter Karie Klein; parents Alan and Jean; brothers Mike, Hank and Gordon; sisters Valerie Luning-Akau and Vida Luning; and one grandchild. Dian Ewart Miller, 65, of Kalaheo, a homemaker, died Wednesday in Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Robert L., daughters Lisa A. Coder and Sherry E. Violet Nancy Duenas Pacyao, 79, of Waipahu, died Monday. She was born in Olinda, Maui.
