The following movie opens this weekend:

"Glitter" -- Considering the recent hospitalizations of pop star Mariah Carey, everything's up in the air regarding the opening of her film and her acting debut. Carey plays a musically gifted New York homegirl who overcomes a turbulent childhood and struggles to find her true family and her true voice, with a rollercoaster ride to superstardom to follow. Max Beesley plays a charismatic "bad boy" DJ who soon becomes her partner, producer and lover (PG-13).
