Last call for refunds

The Pacific Pride 2001 concert will take place at 6:30 p.m. today at Kapono's at Aloha Tower, but without Te Vaka, unable to make a flight from New Zealand. Local performers will go on as scheduled. They include FIJI, Jake Shimabukuro, Kapena, Ko'u Mana'o, Willie K, Makana and special guests.

Ticket holders who wanted to see Te Vaka may receive refunds up until 5 p.m. today at the Hawaii Theatre box office. Others can purchase tickets at the door for $15. Call 521-9699.

Maze bash postponed

The Dole Plantation Maze 3rd birthday bash that was to take place tomorrow has been postponed in light of the World Trade Center tragedy. A new date has not yet been set.

However, the community huli chicken fund-raiser will go on as planned from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Call 551-3961.

New York benefits

>> All three I Love Country Cafes will be holding a benefit fund-raiser for New York City emergency services from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow. Special lunches will be $10, with proceeds donated to relief efforts.

>> All bikers are invited to join the Waipahu Country chapter of H.O.G.'s "Fun in the Sun Poker Run." It starts at Moanalua Gardens at 9 a.m. tomorrow, ending at Kemoo Pub in Wahiawa, where there'll be a party going on. Donations will be collected for New York relief. Call 671-6711.
