KEN IGE / KIGE@STARBULLETIN.COM
This couple, who wished to remain anonymous, ate
their dinner while watching the sun set on

SIGNING OFF ANOTHER SCHOOL DAY

KEN IGE / KIGE@STARBULLETIN.COM
Iesha Chai waved at Harold Machigashira, traffic monitor at Rev.
Benjamin Parker Elementary in Kaneohe, as she walked home on
Tuesday with her grandmother Jaime Stone (pushing stroller) and
Kassity Balgas after her second day back at school. Machigashira
gives a shaka to everyone who drives by, and most wave back
smiling. He has been a traffic monitor for four years, two in Kaneohe.
