Qantas remodels lounge
Qantas Airways has refurbished its Qantas Club lounge at Honolulu Airport.The lounge, available to club members as well as First and Business Class passengers, is open from 9 p.m.-1:30 a.m. daily.
The 80-seat lounge features a contemporary design incorporating Hawaiian artwork and tropical print fabrics, redesigned by the local architectural firm Durrant-Media Five. The lounge is also compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act standards.
The Honolulu lounge allows members to enjoy facilities such as showers, business centers, media libraries and separate areas for lounging and dining.

'Zooventure' on Maui
The Animal Planet and Hawaii Cablevision will present "Zooventure" 11 a.m. and 1, 3 and 5 p.m. Aug. 25 and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Queen Kaahumanu Center in Kahului.Zooventure is for children to play the role of junior zookeeper as they compete for prizes in a series of games that test their knowledge of the animal kingdom. They will answer trivia questions, solve puzzles, engage in fast-paced matching games and identify unique animal sounds.
Winners will get an Animal Planet stuffed animal. All participants will receive T-shirts.
