DOING A HULL OF A JOB

Students of Honolulu Community College's Marine
Education small vessel construction and repair class
are making a canoe mold to create hulls for a Hawaiian
voyaging canoe. The hulls will be built from these
molds, which are made of PVC foam and resin. The
students are working at the Marine Education Center
and Training Center on Sand Island.
