PROMOTIONS

>> Aston Hotels and Resorts Hawaii has named Henrik Rasmussen acting general manager at its Mahana at Kaanapali property. He has been with the company since 1989. Rasmussen comes to Mahana at Kaanapali after serving as rooms division manager at Maui Kaanapali Villas.

>> Aaron Ichiki and Sherry Pokaka'a have been named assistant information technology manager and events manager, respectively, at the Hawaii Convention Center. Ichiki joined the center as a MIS technician in 2000. He will oversee the technical support system and data and internet services at the center. Pokaka'a will be responsible for oversight of events from move-in to move-out. She has been employed at the Hawaii Convention Center since 1997.
