Francis C. DuPont, 79, of Kaneohe, a retired electrical supervisor with the state, died Thursday in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Madeline; son Allan; daughter Kathleen; and sisters Rachel Bailey and Norma Jankowski. Services: 7 p.m. Friday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Call after 6:30 p.m. Graveside services: 3 p.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Aloha attire.

Shiro Hatakeyama, 94, of Honolulu, died July 4. He was born in Ehime, Japan. Private services held.

Edna Fusa Hope, 96, of Hilo, a homemaker, died Tuesday in the Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Lihue, Kauai. She is survived by son George; daughters Edna McIntosh and Corrine Watanabe; sister Hana Mizutani; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Private services held.

Lino Simon Inis, 88, of Waipahu, retired from Lone Star Industry, died July 18. He was born in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Irene; son Lino Jr.; daughter Mina Cacal; and brothers Andres, Herman and Ruperto. Wake: 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church. Randolph Kuuipo Patrick "Uncle Ipo" Kapowai, 62, of Honolulu, a retired Honolulu Fire Department captain, died Wednesday in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Ailynne; daughter Karen Kahoohanohano; sons Randolph Jr. and Hans Otto; sisters Victoria Ku, Sinclaire Kahumoku and Lucille Baker and seven grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Oahu Cemetery Chapel. Call after 9:30 a.m. Aloha attire.

Tsung Chun Kwong, 80, of Honolulu died July 17 in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Canton, China. He is survived by wife Mee Sui Kwong; son Wai Chak Peter Kwong; brother Song Chang Kuang; sister Jun Oi Kwong; and one grandchild. Private services held.

Eishin Tamashiro, 85, of Pearl City, a retired Hawaiian Telephone Company technician, died July 8 in the Aloha Nursing and Rehab Center. He is survived by brothers Yeiichi and Harold. Private services held.
