Editor's note

Mauka-Makai may look a little different to you this week. Three months ago when this magazine debuted, I said it would be a work in progress. As we keep tinkering with our daily and weekend formats, we've been moving things around to find the fit that makes the most sense.

To give more space to feature stories, music coverage and the Billboard hit list will move to Friday's At Home section, as will our video game and video rental lists.

Richard Brill's bimonthly science column will move to our newly formed SciTech section in Business.

We'll continue to offer our regular columns, art and book coverage in Mauka-Makai, as well as Portfolios by local artists and photographers, horoscopes - including those for Monday's birthday boys and girls who've been feeling left out - and the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle.

Thanks for sticking around.
