July 4 PARKING

On-street parking is free except for Kalakaua Avenue bordering Queen Kapiolani Park. Parking will also be permitted in tow-away zones.

The annual Kailua Independence Day parade will start at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Omao Street on Kainalu Drive to Kailua Intermediate School. Due to the parade, there is no parking on Kainalu Drive between Kainui Drive and Kailua Road and on Kuulei Road between Maluniu and Kalaheo avenues.
