>> Christopher Tatum has been named general manager at the Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort. An employee at Marriott International for more than 19 years, Tatum had previously served as general manager at the Brisbane Marriott Hotel (Australia).

>> Ian Kitajima has been named marketing director at Oceanit. He will be responsible for business development and marketing strategy. Kitajima will be based out of the company's headquarters in Honolulu. In addition, Maile Giffin has joined Oceanit as a staff scientist with the company's Space Division on Maui.

>> Karen Muraoka has been promoted to associate at Architects Hawaii. She has more than 19 years of interior design experience.new jobs.

>> Ross Birch has been named operations manager at Waikoloa Beach Resort's Kings' Course. He will be responsible for the operations of the golf course, including supervision of golf shop staff. Birch has been at the resort since 1994.
