Ralph Dunphy Jr., 71, of Hilo, a retired electrical engineer for the merchant marine, died Wednesday in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Houlton, Maine. Santos "Johnny" Bauy Eltagonde, 81, of Waianae, a retired heavy equipment mechanic from Schofield Barracks, died June 20. He was born in Cebu, the Philippines.
