William Kulanakila Burgess Sr., 85, of Aiea, a retired crane operator and musician, died Tuesday at home. He was born in Kona. He is survived by son William K. Jr.; daughters Louise A. Terry, Brenda K. Burgess and Caroline D. Burgess-Pawai; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services: 7 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. William Thomas Crichton, 77, of Honolulu, a retired chief harbor pilot at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died Tuesday. He was born in Jersey City, N.J. He is survived by wife Clara, son John R., daughter Janet A. Crichton and one grandchild. Services: 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kahala Ward Chapel. Call after 6 p.m. Inurnment: 11 a.m. Thursday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire. No flowers.

Mitsuyo I. Furushima, 87, of Honolulu, formerly of Kauai, died June 8 in St. Francis Medical Center-West. She was born in Hanapepe, Kauai. She is survived by son Clyde, daughter Kay Tokuda, brother Yuso Ishida, sister Hatsumi Okamoto and four grandchildren. Services were private.

Mary Chai Linn Lum, 77, of Honolulu, died June 11. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Judge Leslie W.S.; son Michael J.; daughter Cora Lum-Cardwell; brothers Philip, Walter, George and Richard Lee; sisters Edith C. Hoon, Dorothy Wong and Doris Largiader; and three grandchildren. Services were private.

Frances Leonora "Honey" Mason-Rhodes, 70, of Waianae, part-owner and operator of Leeward Shell Service Station and Surfside Shell Service Station, died Wednesday in St. Francis Hospice-West. She also was employed by Sears. She is survived by son Leonard Jr., daughter Corinne Dumont, brothers Charles and Clyde, and two grandchildren. Services: 11:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Waianae. Burial: 3 p.m. Friday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Aloha attire.

Elaine Yoshiko Nakamoto, 84, of Honolulu, a retired baker at Waialae School, died June 11. She was born in Waianae. She is survived by sons George, Wallace and Dennis; daughters Nancy Parlier and Gail Oi; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services were private. Frank P. Rios, 88, of Honolulu, a retired heavy equipment operator for Walker-Moody Construction, died June 17 at home. He is survived by wife Victoria and brothers Rafael Rios and John Quinones. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Call after 9 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mitsuno "Sadie" Sue, 82, of Kaneohe, a retired housekeeper at the Edgewater-Reef Lanai Hotel, died Thursday at home. She was born in Waipahu. She is survived by sons Dr. Steven and Sidney; daughters Suzanne Kishida and Noraine Ichikawa; brother Kazuo Sasaki; sisters Tsuruko J. Hashimoto, Yaeko Yanigibashi and Betty Jo; 11 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Call after 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire.

Nhot Sundara, 65, of Honolulu, died Wednesday in St. Francis Hospice-Nuuanu. He was born in Laos. He is survived by sons Scott K. and Khammone, daughter Souvann Keosy and 10 grandchildren. Visitation: 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary.

Ted Gonsuke Tamashiro, 90, of Honolulu, retired proprietor of Mollie's Cafe and Victoria Inn, died June 18. He was born in Japan. He is survived by wife Edith K., son Jerry A., daughters Judy C. Ogawa and Eva Y. Yomogita, and five grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers.

James Harumi Tomitagawa, 81, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter, died June 12 at Straub Clinic and Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mildred, son James H. Jr., brother Wallace and sisters Lillian Tomitagawa, Julia Tokimasa and Ethel Sue. Services were private.

Clayton M. Yamashiro, 47, of Kapolei, a state public housing specialist, died Thursday in Kapiolani Medical Center-Pali Momi. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Yee Shan D., son Charles, daughter Monica, mother Iris, brother Milton and sisters Marie Lavasseur and Amy May. Services: 11:30 a.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary.
