Saturday's "Get Published!" one-day seminar has been moved to a larger room at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and more seats are available. The Hawaii Book Publishers Association and University of Hawaii at Manoa's Outreach College, with aid from the Department of Business and Economic Development, is hosting the 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. session at Krauss Hall with a reception to follow at East-West Center.Guests include Shelly Mecum ("God's Photo Album"); Glen Grant ("Obake Files" and "Chicken Skin"); book agent Roger Jellinek; and Wayne Levin, photographer of "Through a Liquid Mirror."
Local publishing professionals and authors will share their knowledge and experience, from the fundamentals to book design and marketing. The day-long seminar includes lectures, panel discussions, a question-and-answer periods.
Bring a brown-bag lunch. After the seminar the informal reception includes complimentary pupu and drinks. Cost is $75.

Family Sunday celebrates solar energy
Bishop Museum celebrates Family Sunday this weekend with "Fun In the Sun - It's Electric!" sponsored by the Hawaiian Electric Company.In addition to the current "Robot Zoo" exhibit and activities and games, the high-school inventors of robots that won a NASA competion this spring will be on hand.
The theme of the event is solar energy. Kids can make their own sundials, paint stained glass, race solar-powered cars and even listen to storytellers explain how Maui lassoed the sun. Plus entertainment and food.
Admission is free for Bishop Museum Association members, or $3 ($10 family) for Hawaii residents and military. Information: 848-4160.
