Kava Aviu, 83, of Kapolei, a retired stevedore, died Saturday at home. He was born in Tokelau. He is survived by wife Milovale; daughters Vise Aviu, Amelia Iona, Vaimoana Salanoa, Vaolilo Wooley, Faitau Aviu, Loretta Lafitaga and Blanche Aviu-Faumuina; sons Aviu Kava, Titaulu Aviu, Kava Aviu Jr. and Lika Aviu; hanai sons Tufi Magalei, Sam Aviu and Faialaga Willis; hanai daughters Loretta Sagiao and Helen Niuelua; brothers Tai Aviu and Tofa Aviu; 35 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. John Richard Halligan, 73, of Honolulu, died June 11 at home. He was born in Massachusetts. He is survived by brother William J. Jr. Services were private.

John Donald Huggins, 52, of Waianae, a retired U.S. Navy 1st class aviation maintenance administration data analyst, died May 13 in St. Francis Medical Center Liliha. He was born in Wagoner, Okla. He is survived by wife Aurora A.; daughter Christine-Marie H. Bayudan, sons John-Stephen A. and James-Douglas A., parents J.D. and Elizabeth J., and sister Sandra Gable. Walter Masao Isara, 73, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter for Pacific Construction Co. and a Korean War veteran, died June 7 in St. Francis Hospice West. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Irene, son Clifford, daughters Lee Ann LaFortune and Kimberly Sumida, brother Tom, sisters Florence Miyashiro and Lillian York, and three grandchildren. Mary Elizabeth "Aunty Betty" Liu, 72, of Honolulu, a retired Bank of Hawaii Trust Division clerk and longtime circuit court jury pool volunteer, died June 11. She was born in Honolulu. Raymond Sakae Naito, 42, of Honolulu, died June 8. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Chad, parents Tadao and Eleanor, and grandmother Tsugi Y. Naito. Services were private.

Kazuo "Bob" Okazaki, 89, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter for Walker-Moody Construction Co. and GENCO, died June 9 in the Convalescent Center of Honolulu. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by son Jack; daughters Judy Shimabuku and Hilda Takehiro; brothers Isamu, Yukito and Gilbert; sister Mineo Matsuzaki; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Constancio Eclipse Quinto, 83, of Honolulu, a retired plumber for Standard Plumbing, died June 2 in St. Francis Medical Center Liliha. He was born in the Philippines. Katsumi Tokuuke, 77, of Hilo, formerly of Honolulu, a retired electrician for Wasa Electric Co., died June 10 in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Pohakea, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Chun H., sons Terrance and Jeremy, brothers Satomi "Stoney" and Shigeru, sisters Masako Hirata and Nobuko Tsuchiya, and one grandchild. Services were private.

Marilyn Keahilani Wong, 67, of Honolulu, died June 10 in St. Francis Hospice West. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Lawrence K.S., son LeRoy K.S., daughter Theresa A.
