Selected were: 2000 Olympian Amy Tong (78-kilogram); Iolani School graduate Taylor Takata (60 kg); and Neal Takamoto, the 2001 U.S. Open silver medalist (open division).
This is the first time the event is being held in the U.S. since Hawaii hosted in 1991.

Enriquez to defend Rainbow Open title
Stephen Enriquez begins defense of his title when the 28th Sports Shinko Rainbow Open Golf Tournament tees off Friday at the Mililani Golf Club.Sixty professionals and 158 amateurs are scheduled to compete in four flights in the 54-hole event which runs through Sunday.
Play begins at 6:30 a.m. daily. There is also a charity pro-am tournament Friday with a noon shotgun start.

Deadline nears for seniors tennis tourney
The deadline for entries in the Oahu Public Parks Seniors Tennis Tournament is Friday.Play is in men's and women's singles and doubles, ages 30-80.
The tournament is scheduled for June 23-24 at Diamond Head Tennis Center. Entry fees are $3.50 for singles and $5 per doubles team.
