Hawaii's own

Benny Agbayani, Mets: The St. Louis and Hawaii Pacific alumnus did not play.

Mike Fetters, Dodgers: The Iolani graduate was tagged with his second blown save of the season in Los Angeles' 6-5 loss to New York.

Fetters came in to start the eighth with Los Angeles up 5-3. He walked Robin Ventura and allowed Todd Zeile to reach on an infield single. After Tsuyoshi Shinjo advanced the runners with a bunt and Joe McEwing entered as a pinch-runner for Zeile, pinch-hitter Lenny Harris singled home the tying runs.

After allowng a bunt single and another walk, Fetters was lifted for reliever Terry Adams, who went on to surrender the decisive run in the ninth.

After the game, Fetters took the blame:"It's totally my fault today. We should have won this game, and I'm the reason we didn't. ... Terry Adams should have never been in the game. I do my job, we hand it over to our closer and the game's over."
