Richard Walker
Star-BulletinStar-Bulletin photographer Richard Walker felt that while the onstage action was great, the most interesting aspect of the evening was what was going on backstage.
"People don't often see what happens there and I was witness to students working hard at last-minute preparations, or others caught in quiet moments of reflection prior to taking the stage," Walker said.
The students, who come from eight schools, have been working on the production since January.
The final performance will begin at 2 p.m. today in the school cafeteria.
Artists and photographers are invited to submit portfolios of their work. Send photocopied samples to Portfolio, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, 7 Waterfront Plaza, Suite 210, Honolulu 96813; or email jpeg images to features@starbulletin.com
