NEW JOBS
>> The Honolulu Shriners Hospital for Children has named James Brese its new director of fiscal services, Andi Kubota its new care coordination manager, Pauline Lum its new outpatient services manager and Neill Segawa its new environmental services manager. Brese will direct fiscal administration, general account- ing, patient business services and data processing at the hospital. Kubota will supervise case management of medically complex patients. Lum will coordinate the hospital's outpatient clinic and off-site research clinics. Segawa will supervise the hospital's laundry services and the cleaning of all interior and exterior areas.>> Holly Kaneko has been named production manager at Myers Advertising. She will be responsible for production, administrative management and vendor relations. Previously, Kaneko was employed by Olsten Staffing Services.
>> Jeanne W. Hiroshige has been named human resources manager at Hawaiian Host Inc. Previously, Hiroshige was director of human resources at Sports Shinko (Hawaii) Ltd.
RECOGNITION
>> First Insurance Company of Hawaii has been named Heald College's 2001 Employer of the Year. The award is given in recognition of First Insurance's contributions to career education in Hawaii. Last year, First Insurance hired two graduates from HBC's class of 2000.
