NEXT STOP...EH, WHERE'S ZIPPY'S?

BY ROBERT "RABBETT" ABBETT / SPECIAL TO THE STAR-BULLETIN

Kaneohe Zippy's has not disappeared from the face of the earth, in spite of appearances. The familiar location, closed on Easter Sunday night, has temporarily relocated to William Henry Road makai of Kamehameha Hwy. (behind American Savings Bank).

"We occupy the old Fuji's Delicatessen," said Zippy's Restaurants Director of Information Systems and Marketing Charlene Kim. She said the temporary space is big, despite appearances from the road.

The old Zippy's was torn down to make way for a new Zippy's that is scheduled to be open in November of this year, she said.
