The Hawaii Farm Bureau is launching a four-island fund-raising campaign at Roy's restaurants throughout the state. Fund-raising
for the farmersThe first event, a five-course meal with wine pairings, will be held Saturday at Roy's Waikoloa on the Big Island. The $75 cost covers courses created by Roy Yamaguchi and Jackie Lau of Roy's, Ryan Vargas of the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows, Robert Kealiinohomoku of Four Seasons Hualalai and Hiroshi Fukui of L'Uraku. Wine pairings are by master sommelier Chuck Furuya.
The farm bureau dinner has been held in past years only at Roy's in Hawaii Kai and has become the major fund-raising event for the support group for local farmers. This year the bureau is taking the show on the road for a neighbor island tour.
Future dinners will be held on Maui June 11, Oahu Sept. 10 and Kauai Oct. 6. Call 256-3466.
Foodland to Go!, the online ordering service, expands as of today to Foodland stores in Hawaii Kai and Ewa Town Center. Foodland online grows
Through www.foodland.com, online shoppers place orders, then arrange to pick up their groceries. Foodland personal shoppers assemble the orders for a service fee of $4.95. Pick-up times are 2 to 8 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekends.
The original service launched in January at the Beretania Street store.

Winning chefs in Pearlridge Center's "Keiki Snack Attack" competition will demonstrate how to make their treats during Keiki Tuesday programs in May and June. The next session is 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Pearlridge Downtown. Keiki cooks
Kid cooks were challenged to create snacks that could be made in 10 minutes without stove-top cooking. Winners were Sasha and Stanton Barbadillo for Edible Aquariums, Christian Tolentino for Tortilla Chips with Tuna Ranch Dip, McKenna and Riley Noland for Apple Delight, Vanessa Kop for Granola Surprise, David Kop for Chocolate and Peanut Butter Rollups, Joseph Patnaude for Easy Yummy S'mores, Bryon Nakatani for Island Smoothie and Alyson Rod for Worms in the Mud. The winners received $25 Pearlridge gift certificates.
