>> Jerry Pupillo has been named assistant general manager at Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park. Pupillo has been with Hawaiian Waters since it opened in 1998.

On the board

>> Jay T. Kanegawa has been elected chairman of the Hawaii Dental Service board of directors. The following officers have also been elected to one-year terms: Gabriel S.H. Lee, first vice chair; Randall S. Cislo, second vice chair; Thomas K. Sing, secretary; Kendall C.S. Wong, assistant secretary; Kelvin N. Asahina, treasurer; and Gregory D. Dunn, assistant treasurer.

Public directors elected to three-year terms on the HDS board were: Judith B. Chun, of Island Holdings; Garret S. Hayashi; Michael Y. Ichikawa, of Egami & Ichikawa CPAs Inc.; and John S. Kaopua III of the Iron Workers Union Local 803. And the following were elected to serve three-year terms as dentist directors on the HDS board: Kelvin N. Asahina, Malcom H.M. Chang, Jay T. Kanegawa and Stephen K. Miyaji.
